Henrietta is Toby's faithful coach.
Bio
When The Fat Controller was on holiday many years ago, he came across a tram engine and his coach, Henrietta. He took rides on them for several days during his holiday and the controller and his family became good friends with Toby and Henrietta. When the Fat Controller returned from his holiday, he had a problem with Thomas and a policeman on the Quarry Route. Simultaneously discovering that Toby's line was closing down, he purchased Toby and Henrietta and they have been working on Thomas' Branch Line ever since.
When James had an accident with some tar wagons, Toby and Henrietta were sent to be painted and mended- looking as good as new!
Persona
Henrietta is Toby's faithful coach, who likes to be full of passengers and take them on journeys. She does not like to be separated from Toby, although she rarely carries a full load of passengers. Henrietta is quite content with her life on the Island. Toby is attached to Henrietta and always takes her with him, as he says "she might be useful one day".
Livery
Henrietta is painted orange-brown with red bufferbeams and a grey roof.

Trivia
- Despite not having a visible face until Thomas and Victoria (in the Railway Series) and the eighteenth season (in the television series), she had the ability to talk in the Railway Series books that took place before Thomas and Victoria, as well as the first and second seasons.
- In an annual story, it was revealed that Henrietta has one surviving sister left, being a bogie version of herself.
